What is it?
Advanced Coaching for Leaders was created in response to demand from graduates of The Coaching Clinic™.  This is an advanced program focusing on the application and integration of coaching, both in a manager’s day-to-day and in focused application particularly with the development of others.

 

Who is it for?
Advanced Coaching for Leaders is intended for leaders who have already participated in The Coaching Clinic and have successfully applied these principles and practices in their professional lives.

 

What it does
Participants are challenged to raise their standards with constructive, collaborative conversations with senior leaders, peers, and direct reports. They will explore the shifts required of them to build a true development-focused and sustainable work environment.

The outcomes are:

A renewed commitment to the value and application of coaching as a leadership competency

Increased confidence and a model of excellence for conducting developmental conversations with people at all levels

Understandf different learning styles and how these affect leadership development

Confidence in using advanced coaching skills to increase their effectiveness with coaching and management conversations

A strategy for using collaboration as an approach and mindset when developing others

What to expect
Participants will:

Renew the foundational principles for coaching, reinforcing the core concepts, skills and models presented in The Coaching Clinic.

Raise their coaching skills to the next level with new models and tools, including using Powerful Language, Gap Bridging, and more.

Look at their own learning style preferences, and explore how their learning style influences their own development and that of those they coach.

Receive feedback on their own coaching style with tips to increase effectiveness

Practice Courageous Conversations – how to initiate conversations about sensitive issues, and carry them through with confidence, sensitivity, and integrity

Be able to bring all of these elements together, creating an environment that fosters leadership development.

The participants will work with case studies plus real-life scenarios drawn from their unique business environment  They will also be supported with first-class printed materials and guided group interaction to maximize their learning experience.
