What is it? Great questions are central to the skillful coach’s methodology. They can be used to inquire, to stimulate, to challenge, to motivate. The Great Question!™ game allows new and aspiring coaches to practise this core coaching skill whether or not they have graduated from The Coaching Clinic®. Simple to administer, yet subtle and sophisticated, Great Question! introduces participants to the coaching experience through structured interaction in an adult game format. Professional coaches and coach-trainers also use Great Question! to reinforce learning while strengthening client commitment to coaching and The Coaching Clinic process.

What it does? The Great Question! game reinforces the five-step Coaching Conversation model introduced in The Coaching Clinic. Based on the principle that adults experience more powerful learning when positively engaged, the Great Question! game enables participants to ask powerful questions, communicate effectively and improve listening skills. Players practise asking enlightening questions that empower people to excel in any field of endeavour.

Who is it for?
Professional coaches, trainers and facilitators can use the Great Question! game as a way of introducing or cementing coaching skills. The Game is intended for use in conjunction with The Coaching Clinic two-day workshop. External coach-trainers will also find that offering the Great Question! game to their clients is an effective and inexpensive way of strengthening professional relationships.
