What a difference this course has made to our blended family! We remind each other what to do when we are feeling bad. We tell each other we are loved no matter what. We put the tools into practice every day. What the kids said: "It was cool fun", "I have some new friends". During this course the four of us connected in a very special way which will remain for our lifetimes ..

I am grateful for the opportunity to become more aware and able as a parent. I attended this event with the hope that my children and I would gain more skills to bring back into our family life and they would also learn tools to cope with growing up. I now have more understanding of myself and my kids, our needs and how we tick. I feel like I am more in control which makes parenting so much easier. I'm sure this is also because the children participated as well. It's a shared experience. My daughter says she is better at doing energy releasing and enjoyed all the games they played. They made her feel good. My son said he has learnt to be nicer and enjoys how our family is closer ..

I have attended with my 8 year old son. We both found the workshop very helpful. He is not a child who talks much about his experiences, but every now and then he comes out with something, e.g. what's below line and what's above the line behavior. I have noticed that while he still gets angry and frustrated, he is now expressing his feelings better and releasing this energy in a safe way. I also have the feeling that he is less jealous of his younger brother. As for me I learned so much! It opened my eyes to the different kinds of parenting and the love languages of each member of our family. I also realised that my parenting style is often different for my younger son, with less boundaries - no wonder my older son sometimes felt jealous - now I can do something about it. I feel that our family life is more harmonious and happy and we have family hugs now which feel great ..

I found Kids Rock an amazing investment in me, my child and my family's future. It has awakened thoughts, feelings and behaviours within me and my daughter that I knew existed, but couldn't quantify or didn't want to know about. It has enabled me to face my truth in a loving and respectful way which has given me enormous freedom. It has enabled me to love myself and my family at a level way beyond belief and has helped put into perspective the life balance which is so important to me and moving forward with new tools. The children had a day of fun-filled games and exercises as they come to learn ways of expressing their thoughts, feelings, fears and behaviour. They learned ways of how to become who they really want to be and to be outrageously themselves, rather than feeling obliged to be who we as parents want them to be. Your family will certainly be empowered to live the life that you want to live and to make the very most of every day - our family certainly has! ..
